I feel that domestic violence is a very big issue in today's society because so many children are bieng affected by it. Some of them are forced to live in shelters, homless or even worse they are dead., So I would love to do a project that benifits children that needs help.
Another interesting topic that I had was The Influence that the Media has on America's youth. This topic is a pressing issue because what you see is what you get and if you see negativity you might end up being negative.
Some of my project ideas are very well but I just can't think of a project that will fit the topic and I would say that is what I am worried about and need to find out what I am going to do soon.

Jasmine, you could also look into how the media portrays domestic violence--from its use as a comic tool to the overdramatic basis of a Lifetime movie.
Also, you may want to look into White Ribbon Day. It is a domestic violence awareness campaign that exists in Australia, New Zealand and in the UK, but doesn't seeme to have much press in United States. Perhaps your project could be to start a White RIbbon Day here!
